My Heart

My heart, it flies,

Winging its way

From land to skies

So far away;

It bids the fair cloud-maidens, ‘Good-day!’

My heart, so full

Of boundless glee,

Soars like a gull

From sea to sea;

Its flight is caused by thinking on thee.

My heart, it rests,

The day now done.

By your requests,

My heart was won;

Together our hearts will touch the sun.
